Harry Styles’ “call me” request to Kim Kardashian

We’re sure Harry Styles isn’t the only teenage boy on the planet with a poster of Kim Kardashian on his bedroom wall. However, he is the only 18-year-old smart enough to use a poster and Post-It Note to (sort of) ask Kim on a date.
The One Direction star is currently in US with the rest of his band-mates, and during a promotional visit to a radio station he took along his favourite binki-clad Kim picture and stuck on a note that said,” Call me, maybe? ;)” So he wants Kim to give him a call, but has foolishly neglected to also write down his phone number. School boy error there, Harry.
Harry isn’t the only One Directioner who’s keen to hangout with the Kardashians. Niall Horan got on Twitter to invite Khloe Kardashian and her husband Lamar Odom to a 1D show. 27-year-old Khloe’s reponses was hilariously like that of a teenage girl,
“OMG we would love to!! When and where?! LOL depending on if there's a game we would love to come (sic).
“Ugh! Lamar will be playing out of town in Houston & I will be in LA but I come back that day. Keep me posted on the time wooo.”

So, do you think Harry has a shot with Kim?

One Direction get their own Nickelodeon TV show!!

Get ready to welcome the One Direction boys into your living room! No, the boys aren’t planning to travel the country visiting each of their fans at home (sadly) – they have in fact landed their own TV show.

Rumours about the boys working on their own Nickelodeon TV show surfaced last week, and have now been confirmed on Nick’s official Twitter account with the kid’s TV network confirming that they are working with Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson.

“The rumors are true, our live-action slate does include a development project for @onedirection. Welcome to the family!”

American invasion!

One Direction are currently taking America by storm, so it’s not surprising that the US channel has signed them up. It’s good news for the 1D boys as well, just think how big Miley Cyrus became after starring in the Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana. They are going to be the biggest boy band on the planet at this rate.

One Direction mania has well and truly hit the US, and it’s thought that their debut album Up All Night will reach the top of the charts when the new Hot 100 is announced on Wednesday.
American industry sources reckon the album is on course to sell between 160,000 and 180,000, which is likely to be enough to land the Number One position. And if that happens, they will be the first UK group in chart history to hit number one in their debut album’s first week of release.

“Up All Night” Hits Number 1 AND Number 2 On USA iTunes

Thanks in large part to their hugely successful appearance on The Today Show yesterday morning in America, One Direction have hit both number one AND number two in the USA iTunes album charts.

As it stands, the Deluxe Version is number one, and the standard version is number two, which is an amazing achievement, and something that marks One Direction out to be quite probably, the biggest boyband on the planet.

Who would have thought that 18 months ago when all five members first met on the UK X Factor, they would get to where they are now, selling out arena’s, appearing on the biggest television shows around, and making girls scream, faint and cry wherever they go.

Oh, what a life eh!

We can’t give a link to iTunes as the website hasn’t been updated yet, but the live charts (as pictured) clearly show 1D at the top.

Well done boys!

One Direction sell out Australian tour in three minutes

One Direction's Australian tour sold out in an incredible three minutes today (02.03.12).
One Direction's Australian tour sold out in just three minutes.
The boy band - who were formed by Simon Cowell on 'The X Factor' and are currently supporting Big Time Rush on their North American tour - sold an incredible 10,000 tickets for three shows between 9am and 9.03am in Australia today (02.03.12).
The group - Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Harry Styles and Zayn Malik - will play two shows in Sydney on April 13 with a third concert in Melbourne on April 16.
Meanwhile, The Wanted have revealed they are not worried about competition from One Direction because the two groups have very different markets.
Both US bands are currently enjoying huge success in America but Tom Parker told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "One Direction will build up a big teen market. But we want to push our music not our faces.
"They'll kill that teen market. I don't really see my face on the front of a teen magazine if I'm totally honest. I've got a beard and I'll probably have a beer in my hands. It's not really a good look for a teen magazine."

One Direction caused hysteria as they performed on America's 'Today' show in New York yesterday (12.03.12).
The British boy band - Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson - were watched by 15,000 screaming fans as they sang their hit songs at the city's Rockefeller Plaza.
The group performed three tracks - 'What Makes You Beautiful', 'One Thing' and 'More Than This' - and admit they've been overwhelmed by the reaction they've had in the States.
Zayn - who was put together with his bandmates during the 2012 series of the UK's 'X Factor' - told the show's hosts Ann Curry and Matt Lauer: "Since we got put together, we've made four best friends, you know, we've lived together, we're on the road and we do something that we love every single day, so for us that's the most amazing part.
"The only downside is we don't see our friends and family as much as we'd like to but other than that, you know, we're just enjoying everything that, you know, life is throwing at us at the minute, so."
One Direction - whose album 'Up All Night' is released today (13.03.12) - have proved hugely popular with US audiences while supporting band Big Time Rush, and they are scheduled to appear on 'Saturday Night' Live next month as they try to further break the US market.

Zayn Malik is back with the One Direction boys, plus new tour dates announced!

And all is well in the world again… Zayn Malik has re-joined the rest of One Direction boys on their US tour.

The 19-year-old boybander had been absent from the 1D US tour after a family bereavement, but now he’s back with the boys and happily goofing around with his bandmates. Zayn tweeted to his fans, “Back in the US can't wait to see the boys hopefully they haven't missed me too much aha ! :D x x”
Zayn’s message was soon followed by a picture posted by Harry Styles of an unshaven Zayn poking his tongue out, with the caption read, “Like he never left.” Awww, we’re happy to hear the Zayn is back and doing his best to get back to normal after the death of his Aunt.

The boys have sent teenage girls across North America into a frenzy since they’ve been on their tour with US group Big Time Rush. The boys will appear at the Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards 2012 this year (watch it on Sunday 1 April at 5.30pm on Nick UK), and are nominated in two categories, Favourite UK Band and Favourite UK Newcomer.

But don't worry, the boys haven’t forgotten about their UK fans. Phew! They’ve just added some more dates to the 2013 tour. The new show in April are…

London O2 arena (4, 5),
Newcastle Metro arena (10),
Sheffield Motorpoint arena (14),
Birmingham LG arena (17)
Manchester arena (19)

One Direction’s What Makes You Beautiful scores highest US chart debut in 14 years

One Direction really are taking over the world!
Fresh from their Best Single victory at the Brits (we’re guessing there are a lot of 1D fans with huuugephone bills), the boys are also making waves in the US. What Makes You Beautiful is the highest US Hot 100 debut for a UK act in over 14 years.
After a flying visit to the States earlier this year, the boys have shifted an impressive 132,000 downloads in the first week of sales according to Nielsen SoundScan, landing at No. 12 on the Digital Songs chart.
The Boys have topped The Verve, who entered the chart at Number 13 with Bittersweet Symphony back in 1998, and the last group UK to enter the chart in a higher position was the Spice Girls in 1997, they debuted at Number 11 with Wannabe. We don’t need to tell you that the Spices went on to be MASSIVE in the US and around the world.

Harry & Caroline update-article from SugarScape

CAROLINE FLACK ‘TREATING HARRY STYLES RELATIONSHIP AS A FLING’
The latest Harry Styles / Caroline Flack rumours to come spinning out of the press today are based around the theme of Caroline thinking her relationship with Harry is a bit of fun, and that it won’t last.
Sigh.
This comes after the gossips last week said that Caroline didn’t see the relationship lasting beyond the summer.
“I think Caroline’s been treating the relationship as a fling,” an apparent insider tells Look magazine.
“She’s 32, and she’s bound to be starting to think about settling down and having a family.
“She must’ve assumed Harry was too young to be that guy, so was talking about ending things before either of them get hurt.”
“Harry’s desperate to prove he means business,” the gossiper continues.
“He pulled out all the stops at Christmas to spoil her with a £1,500 Mulberry bag and has been saying he’s planning a romantic trip for his 18th birthday in February.
“It’s all about proving he has what it takes to be a mature boyfriend. He’s even been pictured babysitting his make-up artist’s son, showing he’s not afraid of responsibility.”
